to our "Event Image" home page. The photography teams of Photos@VectorTrust.com are going to offer fewer event image files in this area for 2008. In the past, our pictures were "client only preview pages". Some fans learned to look for our images, with links from Google images and other search tools. We didn't want to discourage motor racing fans, Unfortunately, As we removed and rotated picture packages, some web pages remained in the search engine cashe.... but without the images. It looked as if our site wasn't maintained. We always have "extra" pictures, so we decided to continue our experiment and share our enthusiasm for the people, racing teams and places we are privileged to visit. We made a decision in 2004 to allow some pages to remain posted, so links could be passed around within car clubs and fan sites. During 2007, we found our content was being distributed by others, [in ways we won't discuss here]. This allowing them to make money, but without helping to cover our cost. The 2008 version of this page will have fewer public images and links for that reason. We are sorry for this change. We will try to display a selection of outtakes and "extras" from some of the events we cover. You can forward this web address with some confidence that the pages will remain on display for longer periods of time. Downloads & Screensavers For years, we've been asked if our photos are available as screensavers or wallpaper. We build them for client teams and sponsors, but resisted making them available online. Late in the 2007 racing season, we tried giving this experiment another go with a few images. We couldn't use our client-purchased images or media package product and shooting specifically for screensavers didn't give us the "cool stuff" we know the fans/enthusiast wanted.
